Job Summary:
The Director of the ILI is responsible for the overall strategic direction and oversight of all leadership activities of Sigma Theta Tau International.    

Principal Responsibilities:
·        Provide leadership and oversight for the ILI
·        Develop and implement the strategic plan for the ILI
·        Develop and implement leadership programs
·        Implement sound business practices, including budget oversight
·        Manage strategic relationships with stakeholders
·        Practice effective personnel management strategies
·        Work collaboratively through a team approach to foster a positive work environment
·        Work collaboratively with directors and subsidiaries to implement leadership initiatives
·        Participate in organizational strategic planning as part of the leadership team

Minimum Requirements:
·        A graduate degree in nursing
·        A strategic vision of, and experience in, leadership program development and implementation at a national and international level
·        7-10 years of administrative leadership experience
·        Excellent communication skills including ease with public speaking and use of technology
·        Experience in non-profit professional or service organization with experience in the health care sector is preferred.
·        Experience with international organizations is desired
