Volunteer Orientation
Welcome!

Thank you for demonstrating your commitment to the honor society by sharing your time and talents as a volunteer. Service is what brought many of us to nursing; many members and chapters are actively involved in providing service locally, nationally and internationally.
As an honor society volunteer, you have the ability to utilize and advance your indispensable nursing skills and talents and network with thousands of nurse volunteers who share your desire to promote grownth in the field of nursing. Please use these orientation resources as a foundation to enhance your volunteer experience.
The four steps at right will acquaint, inform and familiarize you on the entire volunteer process. Pay close attention to the online orientation and volunteer manual in Step 2: Getting informed. We encourage all honor society volunteers to review these resources, whether they have served in their position for many years or have just started their work on a task force, advisory council, chapter board or other volunteer group.
We hope you will gain valuable experience as an honor society volunteer. With the help of dedicated nurse leaders like you, the honor society will be able to advance its mission of supporting the learning, knowledge and professional development of nurses committed to make a difference in health worldwide. If you should have any questions along the way, please contact us at volunteer@stti.iupui.edu.
