Volunteer Recognition
It is important to the honor society to recognize volunteer efforts and nurture volunteer motivation throughout the year in many ways. Organized recognition efforts vary on the local, regional and international levels and include awards, grants, scholarships and special events. Methods of informal recognition range from saying a simple “thank-you” after a task is complete to a concerted effort to include volunteers in decision making.
